Graduate students presenting original research at conferences are eligible to receive a Research Presentation Award (RPA) averaging $400. RPAs are intended to enable graduate students to travel to important conferences within their discipline in order to present their scholarly and creative work. RPAs are awarded two times each year (Fall and Winter semesters) and are distributed within two months after the application deadline. The RPAs are available to all graduate students who have either already presented original research or who are planning to present original research within the specified time period. Historically, one in three applicants receive an award.
