Sense of Purpose
Employees of Brigham Young University find fulfillment by working in a Christ-centered atmosphere and by taking an active role in the University's mission: "To assist individuals in their quest for perfection and eternal life." The University has established Aims and Objectives to meet this mission:
Challenging Work
BYU is a large and complex organization that employs highly skilled personnel engaged in hundreds of professional occupations, from auto mechanics to human resources to information technology. BYU also employs faculty and research assistants in fields ranging from accounting to music and neuroscience to women's studies.
Honor Code
As a condition of employment, all employees agree to live the Honor Code and Dress and Grooming Standards both on and off campus, 24 hours a day. The Honor Code helps promote a safe and open work place and creates an environment of honesty and personal growth.
Devotionals and Forums
University devotionals and forums provide students and employees the opportunity for spiritual and academic growth. Held Tuesday mornings for nearly every week during the year, devotionals and forums feature General Authorities of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, BYU and visiting faculty, governmental leaders and ambassadors, and other distinguished speakers.
Beautiful Surroundings
Our grounds crew works hard to create a pleasant environment full of colorful flower gardens and scenic vistas. A towering mountain backdrop, beautiful sunsets, and blossoming trees add to the tranquil environment.
