Change Billed Account
If married, you may choose which spouse's account gets billed each month; however, we will only bill the account of a tenant who is enrolled in classes at the University with a minimum of 9 Undergraduate credits or 2 Graduate credits. All rental payments must be made to the currently billed account.

Computers, Internet, Telephone, IPTV
Residents are welcome to bring their own computers, or they may rent one from the Office of Information Technology. Computers are leased on a first-come, first-served basis. For further information, visit the computer rental page on the Office of Information Technology website.
High-speed wireless BYU Internet connection* is provided to each resident. Residents will have access to the Internet at large as well as to BYU's campus computing services, which include university library and registration databases, etc.
*Beginning Spring Term 2015, the wireless internet service accessed through centralized Office of Information Technology arrays currently located in on-campus housing units will be phased out. Residents will now have the freedom to bring their own compatible wireless router and connect it to a BYU network data jack in their apartment for internet access. Click here for more information.
Telephone landlines are not available.
To view availability and descriptions of IPTV and other services, visit the Housing Technology Services page on the Office of IT website. If you have any technical problems or access questions call 801-422-4000 or visit the Office of IT website.
Family Housing Review Board
Residents may seek exceptions or alternatives to the established guidelines and contract terms (i.e. extension of move-out time, guests, etc.) by submitting a petition. The petition is found in My Housing Account under the Family Housing tab. Once the petition is filled out and submitted, the Board will review it and notification of their decision will be sent through the message board in My Housing Account.
Depending on where you have contracted to live, you may check in at that area's office after 10:00 a.m. on the effective date of your rental agreement. When you check in, you will be given the key to your apartment. A Community Aide in the area will give you a mail key. After you turn in the completed check-in form, you will be given a second apartment key. If you would like to check-in on a Saturday or a holiday, you must make arrangements beforehand with the area office.
If you are locked out of your apartment during office hours, you may check out a key from the area office with photo identification. If locked out after business hours but before 11:00 p.m., you can go to your Community Aide to be let in (the same identification process is required). If a checked-out key is not returned the same day, you will be charged $1.00 per day for each day you have the key.
Each apartment is provided with a mailbox, and the US Post Office requires you to label your mailbox with your name in the appropriate slot. An example of your mailing address is as follows:
