Events & Activities

Effective February 18, 2022, BYU removed the requirement to present proof of full vaccination or negative COVID-19 test to gain access to large, indoor public events on campus (athletics, performing arts, conferences and symposiums).

There may be specific events where a guest artist or performing group requires proof of vaccination as a condition of their performance. BYU will honor those contractual agreements as established.

Masks are optional in classrooms and other indoor spaces on campus, except in certain situations as directed.

BYU is closely monitoring COVID-19 conditions on a local and national level and will continue to adjust safety protocols as necessary.

Planning Events

Campus events may be planned and scheduled but events must abide by current BYU policies. As per policy, events that require Risk Management approval can be submitted here for review and approval.
